Fishing (Year Round)

Considered a "Blue Ribbon" trout fishery, The South Fork of the Snake River was chosen as the location of the 1997 Fly Fishing World Championship. It boasts over 6000 fish per mile, and is one of the few places in the world that anglers can catch Snake River Cutthroat trout. The South Fork also has a healthy population of large brown trout with some specimens approaching the 30" mark, though 20" fish are much more common. In addition to the South Fork, The Henry's Fork, and Teton River are perfect day trips from your 7N Ranch Resort home base.

Wading access is available on much of the river and drift boat rentals are available onsite. For more info on fishing or to rent a drift boat, click here.
